an ode to siblings

Okay, so maybe it's not an ODE per say, but it is my extreme pleasure to announce that my two sisters Rachel and Anna and my brother Bert will ALL be in the UK tomorrow!!! Seriously, this is so amazing.  My sister Rachel is in her last year/about to start her last term at the University of California, Santa Barbara and her spring break starts next week.  She took some of her finals early to come this week.  Anna is in her second year at Chico State and her spring break is THIS week. She is missing her first week back to classes after break to be here next week.  And my brother Bert has a full time job working as a neuro-monitor in the hospitals but was somehow able to get 10 days off to make it here.  It is nothing short of a miracle that it worked out for them to all come together.  I don't think Newcastle is gonna know what hit em' when all the Fairman siblings descend upon the city!

We have 10 days of UK craziness planned, starting with a day trip to Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday, a train ride to London, England for a couple of nights, flying over to Dublin, Ireland for some Guinness, and back to Newcastle for a short time before they head back to sunny CA.  I'm worn out just talking about it...but I can't wait to see them all. I've been busy cleaning getting our place all perfect for their arrival.

Let's take a look at some pictures of the Fairman children from the last few years.

And because these are just too funny NOT to add....
Can't wait for them to get here. I'm counting down the hours as I post. If you don't see anything new on my blog in the next week or so, you know why!

  2. Thanks Michelle! We are super close and I can't wait to see them. And Julie, the snuggie pictures are priceless. Haha. And the one of us in the bleachers was a Christmas card a couple of years ago. LOL.

  3. Hey Stephanie! I found your blog through Julie! I'm also a significant other! My hubby is in the MPH to MD program in Grenada. He'll be starting the MD part in January. I'm currently not with him but I'll be joining him in August. :) We have a lot in common (LOVE scrapbooking!) and wow I just loved your wedding pics. I wore some sexy red shoes to mine, so colored shoes all the way! Can't wait to read more of your blog.
